Problem
PMC alarm ER61 raises and I/O Link i fails to link.
Condition of the failure to occur
The failure occurs when all of the following conditions.
- Series 40A7 edition 02 is used
- I/O Link i is used
- I/O device with MPG is connected
- Drawing number of the main board is as follows:
- A02B-032x-H100
- A02B-032x-H102
- A02B-032x-H200
- A02B-033x-H100
- A02B-033x-H102
- A02B-033x-H200
Cause of the failure
The modification for the new I/O Link i hardware affected the assignment process of MPG slot and caused
the error.
Countermeasures
Please do one of followings.
- Update PMC system software series 40A7 to edition 03 or later.
- Turn on the keep relay K999.1 that disables the modification and restart CNC.
(* Use this countermeasure to avoid the problem if the software update is difficult)
